Corrosion and Chemical resistant
Our FRP grating is manufactured in an open, heated mold system. Continuous E-glass roving’s are placed in the mold in alternating layers and completely wetted out with resin. This continuous process produces an integral, one piece construction which provides excellent corrosion resistance as well as bi-directional strength. There are a number of different molds available resulting in a extensive range of panel sizes, thickness and mesh patterns.

Slip-resistant
Our FRP grating offers the availability of two types of surfaces. Concave top or a grit top, both are slip resistant. Concave top is the preferred choice of the food and beverage Industry where high pressure cleaning is important. Our grit top surfaces provide a more positive traction under foot and is the preferred choice when seeking premium slip resistance.
We also supply a diamond top and grit top for our solid FRP plate. Our slip resistant FRP grating, stair treads and plates help to keep slips and falls in industry down even after years of use. Helping to keep production and costs to industry downtime to a minimum.
Molded FRP grating has a higher slip resistance when compared to metal, wood, concrete tiled surfaces. 

High strength-to-weight ratio
Our Molded FRP grating’s integral one piece construction, continuous roving’s and quality resin has resulted in grating that is half the weight of steel. This then enables a product applicable for access covers, grates, trench covers, below floor level applications as well as less construction support when used as raised flooring.

Employees no longer have to withstand standing on solid concrete floors, using our molded FRP grating as a flexible working platform results in less fatigue and strain on the lower back and legs providing worker comfort and increasing productivity and safety underfoot.

Low maintenance
Our molded FRP grating is self cleaning (tapered load bearing bars), uv resistant and does not need painting even after years of service(molded in colour). Not to mention its chemical and corrosion resistance.

Fire retardant
Our molded FRP grating has a flame spread rating of 25 or less subject to the resin system used as tested to ASTM E-84 test standards and reports.

Easily fabricated and installed
The use of heavy lifting equipment and expensive fabricating tools are not required . In most installations 2 people can handle panels and cutting panels can be done using circular saws etc.
We can cut panels to desired sizes upon request subject to drawings being produced, this is an alternative to onsite cutting.
